Since November 2018, Q-Bioanalytic GmbH has been part of the Eurofins Group. The ISO 17025 accredited laboratory offers not only classical methods but also fast methods for food analysis.

Q-Bioanalytic specialises in real-time PCR-based methods in microbiology, animal species identification, GMO and allergen analysis. In addition to its function as a drinking water testing laboratory and animal disease laboratory, the new site also offers microbiological drug testing according to GMP standards. Further, the laboratory develops and produces real-time PCR analysis kits as well as DNA extraction and isolation kits.

The DNA of Q-Bioanalytic

From the very beginning, the company's philosophy has been to design workflows in such a way that customers receive their results as early as possible. Today, very short lead times and a high sample throughput can be achieved with the processes and methods coordinated to this. For example, it is possible to carry out 768 real-time PCR reactions simultaneously at hourly intervals, which is particularly helpful in an ever faster food processing market. The "Q" in the name therefore stands for speed ("Quick"), for the quality of the products and services offered ("Quality") and finally for the high sample throughput of the laboratory ("Quantity").
