We are pleased to announce a new distribution agreement between Biosynth Carbosynth and Eucodis Bioscience, an enzyme engineering and manufacturing company.

Biosynth Carbosynth, a global supplier of biochemicals and custom chemical synthesis services, have expanded their portfolio of products to include enzymes for industrial applications in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, fine chemicals, cleaning, cosmetic and bioremediation sectors.

The enzymes are produced by Austria-based enzyme experts Eucodis Bioscience, who have a track record of engineering and producing quality, high performing enzymes for industrial applications.

Biosynth Carbosynth now offers over 70 products for industrial biocatalysis including lipases, peroxidases, nitrilhydratases, phospholipases, amidases, ß-lactamases, and other enzymes such as catalase, superoxide dismutase, and more. Many of the products are available either as a free or immobilised enzyme.

The distribution agreement between Biosynth Carbosynth and Eucodis Bioscience is an extension of a long-term partnership, giving wider access to the enzymes through our customer network. Dr Jannis Kuepper, General Manager from Biosynth Carbosynth said: “We are very excited to strengthen our long-lasting relationship with Eucodis. Thanks to their enzyme engineering and protein processing know-how, Eucodis have proven to be an invaluable partner in bringing novel enzymes to market.
